Random Access Dementia

I am still alive here. I have settled in to do shows on Dementia Radio (I covered for Bill for 3 months and now do a one hour show most weeks on Tuesday nights as part of a 3 segment show). The new job is tiring but mostly since it meant I had to shift my sleep schedule back 90 minutes and my body is still fighting against that (and don't get me started on the traffic I had wanted to avoid but can't now due to the core hours at the new job!) The class-from-hell is finally over so I have my weekends back, whoo hoo!! I plan to do 2 more cons this year: Dragon*Con (probably my last year there, too expensive and it is the only con I find too large), and Con on the Cob, which is shaping up to be a second dementia con like MarsCon has become. Other than that, nothing new to report. Stay tuned for more random updates, hopefully more often then every six months.

In case you missed it (since it was spur of the moment, most people did), I did my first WildCard's Random Access Dementia show over on Dementia Radio last Wednesday. After talking about becoming a fill-in DJ there for many months, Blasted Bill gave me the details and let me fill in for him when he was unable to cast. Since it was unprepared show, it was just random music from my collection, I did not even have a mic hooked up. And I did not try to do Techno Time, although I found an hour long track this morning that I forgot I had that would have worked well for that segment. Oh well, next time :)

What am I doing here?? Shouldn't I be over on LiveJournal?? Well, there are times that I want to comment on something in a place not associated with some of the other activities that I do (like comments related to the Nashaua Munch). And since I lost both the password AND the email account attached to my WildCard9 blogspot account, I had to recreate a new one. Lets see how long it takes me to remember to use this older user name ever time I try to blog here :-)
